Well, as the Awards Season is coming up, I thought now would be a good time to create a mix of songs that remind me of specific TV shows and movies. I tried to pick songs that were not created for the movie (such as the Dirty Dancing theme song or Who's Johnny from Short Circuit). I also have a slight fear that I may have used some of these songs (and this theme) before. If I did, please let me know immediately and I'll get a new mix up in no time.

Clearly the theme of the mix is autotune. The hipsters in the group may not be familiar with it but autotune has all but consumed Hip Hop. Cher started the trend in 1998 with “Believe”. I really wanted to put it on the mix but just couldn’t pull the trigger. Even I have standards…

To the new Mixers, worry not. The other people in the group are much cooler than me. I was inducted into the group through nepotism (married to the founding Mixer). Thank you Sachin for revitalizing the Club and moving us to the new electronic format. Anyway, hope you enjoy the mix!
